This song, one of my favorites, by Otis Redding topped the charts in the US, and reached Number 3 in the UK in 1968. He finished recording this song a few days before he was tragically killed in an aircraft crash, in December 1967.
“In the Air Tonight” is the debut solo single by the English singer-songwriter and drummer Phil Collins. In 1981, it reached Number 2 on the UK charts and Number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100.
This song, by Irish band, Thin Lizzy, charted at number 6, in the UK in 1973.
Dating from 1988, this was a top ten hit for Michael Jackson.
From the 1979, Movie and Album, The Wall, this is probably the best known Pink Floyd single. One of my favorites anyway.
