Small Faces – Lazy Sunday (1968)

On this Sunday afternoon, a reminder of simpler times, from 1968, this the Small Faces, and their single Lazy Sunday. The low-budget promotional video for “Lazy Sunday” was filmed at Kenney Jones’ parents’ home on Havering Street in Stepney, East London and features his next door neighbour pretending to strangle Steve Marriott.

Rolling Stones – Paint It Black (1966)

This is probably my favorite Rolling Stones song. Paint It Black was released in 1966, reaching Number One in the UK and the USA, and around the World. It went on to be featured on the movie soundtracks, of “Full Metal Jacket” and “The Devils Advocate”.
