Morgan Wallen – Last Night (2023)

April 15th, 2023. It looks like we have a new number 1 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. Morgan Wallen has hit the top spot with Last Night. Coincidentally he also has the number one album, on the Billboard Album Chart with his album, One Thing At A Time.

The Commodores – Nightshift (1985)

This song, “Nighshift”, released in early 1985, was a tribute to Jackie Wilson and Marvin Gaye, who both died in 1984. This was the first hit, for the Commodores, after Lionel Ritchie left the group. It reached number three in the UK and on the Billboard Hot 100.
