This song, “Here Without You”, by American band, 3 Doors down, is one of my Top 100 songs, of all time. It reached number 5, on the Billboard Hot 100, in November 2003. Apparently it only made number 77, in the UK. It is today’s song of the day.
This song, “Nighshift”, released in early 1985, was a tribute to Jackie Wilson and Marvin Gaye, who both died in 1984. This was the first hit, for the Commodores, after Lionel Ritchie left the group. It reached number three in the UK and on the Billboard Hot 100.
